A home theater system and a DVD recorder for less than $1,000? You bet!
Panasonic has announced its new home-theater-in-a-box SC-HT1000. The system includes a DVD-R/RAM recorder in addition to a complete audio system with a Dolby Digital/DTS AV receiver, subwoofer, and satellite speakers. Don’t know when you wrote this, but I notice a Aug 20,2003 date just below it.
My question is where are they? Neither e-bay nor Amazon can find them.
I do get a few hits from questioable places I never heard of for the SC-HT1000 and a SC-HT1500.
I get the impression these are all that is left of discontinued products.
If so, why are there no new model numbers? What ab0ut other manufactures?
I get several hits for other brands in the UK, but they all have model numbers different from anything in the states.
Why are these so hard to find?
