Cablevision’s VOOM Garners 8,000 Subscribers

The VOOM HDTV satellite service burst on the scene at CES his past January as the THE solution for consumers that demanded more HDTV programming. However, despite a huge advertising push, it has been slow going for the upstart satellite TV provider; as of the end of April, only 8,000 subscribers have signed up.
