Matsushita To Build World's Biggest Plasma Screen Plant

The heavy demand from consumers for Plasma screen televisions, coupled with the desire for manufacturers to embrace new technology, is causing a hot competition between companies to vastly increase their Plasma screen production capacity. It seems that every month, another manufacturer announces it has, or is building, the World's largest capacity Plasma screen manufacturing plants. How does this benefit the consumer? With increased supplies of the stylish sets, shelf prices will continue to come down as manufacturers and retailers compete for the consumer dollar.
