DVD Burning: Can You Be Sued For Doing It?

I am constantly asked by readers if they can make backup copies of their DVDs. While there are many software programs that allow DVD copying or cloning for use in PCs, consumers tread a thin line between legality and morality when using such programs to copy DVDs.
