Sony Describes HD Product Plans

Regardless of a somewhat rocky road of delays, lack of coordination between television programmers and manufactuers, and sometimes confusing direction from the FCC, HDTV is here to stay and Sony wants to insure that it is a dominant force in the HDTV landscape for years to come. Current and forthcoming HDTV products from Sony include a new consumer HD camcorder and the pressing forward of Blu-Ray DVD recorders.
