Comcast Adds HDTV Recorders To Service

Although high definition DVD recorders are still a year-or-so away, satellite and cable providers are beginning to offer its subscribers DVR service that allows recording of high definition television programs. A DVR basically operates like a VCR, but records onto a hard drive, rather than to tape or disc. Comcast is quielty adding this service option to its subscribers in the Sacramento, California area.
