What is the difference between a LC TV and a LCD TV?

There should not be a difference – LC and LCD are both abbreviations for the same technology, when referring to TVs .

LCD stands for Liquid Crystal Display

LC stands for Liquid Crystal and is also used as an abbreviation for specific models – such as many sets made by Sharp – which start with the letters LC.

Is there a specific TV that you are considering that that has the LC TV designation?
