Substantial price reductions over the past year have pushed LCD Flat Panel television into the spotlight as an increasingly desirable alternative to both standard tube televisions and Plasma sets. In addition, with Sony and Toshiba planning to pull back on Plasma television production, the potential impact of LCD televisions in 2005 may be quite substantial.
