Samsung Develops 82-Inch LCD TV

LCD flat panel televisions are not only getting more affordable, but are getting larger, putting LCD technology in a head-to-head competition with both Plasma and Rear-projection televisions in terms of offering increasingly larger screen sizes. Following this trend, Samsung has just announced its world record size 82-inch LCD television, beating out Sharp's earlier record LCD screen size of 65-inches by a substantial margin.
