Yamaha Launches First Ever XM Satellite-Ready Digital Home Theater Receivers

XM satellite radio is about enter the home theater market big-time as Yamaha announces that its new line of home theater AV receivers will be equipped with XM Satellite Radio Tuners. All the consumer has to do is pay the monthly subscription fee to access the popular service. Along with XM capability, the new units are fully functional Dolby Digital/DTS home theater receivers, ranging from the 6.1 channel (85Wattsx6) RX-V457, which is priced at $349.95, to the 7.1 channel (100Wx7) RX-V757, which is priced at $649.95.
