Onkyo Introduces A Trio Of Home Theater-In-A-Box Systems

Onkyo has announced three new compact home theater systems designed to give flexible options for the consumer. The HT-S580 is a 5.1 channel system, freaturing a receiver that delivers a solid 100 WPC, plus an additional built-in amplfier to power the subwoofer. The price is a very reasonable $300. The second system in the line-up is HT-S680, which features 6.1 channels, which also includes the addition of a set of direct 6-channel inputs for SACD and DVD-Audio players The third new system in Onkyo's stable is the 7.1 channel HT-S780, which delivers 110 WPC, and also features component video input switching as well as a 10-inch/230-watt subwoofer.
