Wednesday September 21, 2005
Although Plasma is still the flat panel TV of choice in screen sizes above 42-inches, LCD has been coming on strong this past year with larger screen offerings and performance to match. Now, Sharp, the largest maker of LCD TVs, feels that it is finally time to go head-to-head with Plasma in the popular 50-60 inch screen size. The new offering from Sharp is a 57-inch LCD TV with a 16x9 screen and 1920x1080 native pixel resolution. For additional details, check out the report from ABC News.
