NBC To Show Episode Of "Medium" In 3-D

Thursday September 22, 2005
The third demension comes to primetime television as NBC is scheduled to show an episode of its popular dramatic series, "Medium" in 3-D on Monday, November 21st, at 10PM Eastern and Pacific Time. 3-D glasses will be distributed in a special insert in TV guide the week prior to the showing. This presentation may be the first step in assessing whether consumers will accept 3-D as a television viewing option. If successful, it may result in manufacturers moving forward with the marketing of more sophisticated 3-D television technology that can be both affordable, and not require special glasses. For those that think that HDTV is the final stage in the development of television viewing technology, don't relax just yet - there is a lot more in store. For all the details, check out the announcement from NBC/Universal.
