Another Blu-ray/HD-DVD Delay...

I can't say I'm not surprised, but I was really hoping that the advent of true Hi-Def DVD would be available in just a few more weeks. However, the anticipated March debut of HD-DVD might get pushed back a month or so, which may result in HD-DVD and Blu-ray arriving on store shelves at the same time. HD-DVD backers are none-to-pleased as they had hoped that their earlier product release would give them a marketing advantage over rival Blu-ray. The cause for the delay: last minute fine tuning of the AACS (Advanced Access Content System) Copyprotection platform.
