Outlaw Audio Model RR2150 Stereo Receiver - Product Of The Week

Friday June 2, 2006
Here is a Stereo Receiver with a twist. In addition to its high-power, low-distortion amplifier (100 WPC/.03% THD), the Outlaw RR2150 has some unique features, such as a dedicated subwoofer output with adjustable bass management, USB input for playback of streaming audio from PCs, and a front panel speaker equalization control for optimum performance when using smaller speakers. If you enjoy the sound of traditional 2-channel stereo, but need a little more audio flexibility in a stereo receiver, then check out the Outlaw Audio Model RR2150. Note: The RR2150 is an audio-only receiver, it does not have video inputs/outputs or video switching capability. Manufacturer's Site.

This product has been on backorder for months. Methinks it is looking more and more like a phantom receiver.

The RR2150 is not a figment of your imagination – essentially, it is very unique and is in high demand.

I purchased the RR 2150 and I also own a NAD C720BEE. The NAD is a more musical and dynamic sounding receiver than the Outlaw even though the NAD is rated at half the power. Also the Subwoofer outlet and bass management do not work well on the Outlaw. The NAD wins hands down over every function other than the phono section. Go with the NAD C720BEE!
