Just as with the VCR, the days of the CRT television are finally coming to an end. With the increasing popularity of LCD and Plasma flat panel televisions, due, in great part, to both their continuing lower prices and their stylish appeal to women; manufacturers and retailers are not only descreasing their CRT television offerings, but some major retailers, such as Costco, will stop selling picture tube televisions as early as next year.
