DVDO iScan VP20 High Definition Scaler/Processor/Switcher - Product Of The Week

Friday August 18, 2006

If you own a home theater video projector or high definition flat panel or LCD/DLP projection television, one important component you may be overlooking is a video processor/scaler. Although most HDTVs and video projectors have some scaling capability, an outboard processor/scaler can elevate the performance of both your video display and source components.

The DVDO iSCAN VP20 is designed to accept any analog (composite, s-video, component) or compatible HD source (DVI-via HDMI, HD-Component). In turn, the VP20 can output to a variety of preset resolutions and HDTV formats, including 1080p, through its HDMI, outputs. In addition, if you desire, the VP20 can also downcovert to formats such as 480p if you have an EDTV Plasma or ED Video Projector. The iScan VP20 has both digital coaxial and digital optical audio inputs and outputs, as well as analog to digital audio conversion. Lip-synch control is also featured.

You can use the DVD0 iSCan VP20 Video Processor/Scaler/Switcher to optimize all your video sources to best match the native resolution of your HDMI-equipped video projector, flat panel, or LCD/DLP-based rear projection television. If you have an HDTV or home theater video projector and you just can't seem to get the video performance you expected, you might consider the VP20 as a solution. Manufacturer's Site
