Onkyo Announces New High-End Loudspeakers

Onkyo has teamed up with Acoustic Guitar Maker, Takamine, to develop the first loudspeakers based on the sonic properties of acoustical guitar construction. The thin wall construction of the D-TK10 loudspeaker allows it to vibrate in tune with the musical frequencies, which adds depth and character to sound reproduction. Unlike traditional loudspeaker enclosures, which are rigid and intended to be neutral with regards to sound, the D-TK10's enclosure is an active part of the sound reproduction process, along with the speaker drivers themselves.
