Blu-ray/HD-DVD Combo Player Now Unlikely

Rumors of a possible introduction of Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo players seem to have been put to rest, at least for now, as both LG and Pioneer have announced that they will continue to support Blu-ray over HD-DVD. The possibility of a Blu-ray/HD-DVD combo player would have at least brought a tentative solution to the Blu-ray/HD-DVD War, resulting in less confusion for both retailers and consumers.
