Vidikron Announces THX-Certified Plasma Television

Vidikron, a subsidiary of Runco, has been well-known for making video projectors. However, to tap into the popularity of Flat Panel Televisions, Vidikron has entered the Plasma Television market. The new Vidikron VP-6500VHD sports a large 65-inch 16x9 screen with 1920x1080 native pixel resolution, 60,000 hour screen life, and a separate input/controller. In addition, to accommodate the latest high definition video sources, the VP-6500 can display three 1920x1080 frame rate formats: 1080p/24, 1080p/30, and 1080p/60. To top it off, the VP-6500 is also the first Plasma Television with THX Certification.
