Panasonic PT-AX100U 3LCD HD Home Theater Projector - Product Review and Rating
Monday April 2, 2007
At an MSRP of $2,999, the Panasonic PT-AX100U 3LCD projector offers lots of useful features and solid video performance that is normally reserved for projectors in higher price ranges. With a native pixel resolution of 1280x720 (720p), the PT-AX100U is HD-compatible. In addition, the video quality is excellent for a projector in this class; flesh tones, overall color saturation, and contrast levels provide a very natural looking image, with none of the usual LCD artifacts, such as the screen door effect. This level of performance is hard to find in other similarly-priced units currently on the market. Wow. For $3000 the projector better produce 1080p. I just bought a 720p projector like this one for $800. This one may be nice, but it surely isn’t worth $3000.
Thank you very much for your comments regarding my review of the Panasonic PT-AX100U Video Projector.
The PT AX-100U has an MSRP of $2,999, but can be purchased for as low as $1,999, depending on the seller.
In further response, 1080p video projectors begin at about $4,500 and Up in price.
In addition, in reading my review – did you check the specifications and my performance comments carefully? The PT-AX100U is a 3-chip LCD projector. In terms of Lumens output, Contrast Ratio, Input signal flexibility, and other aspects, the PT-AX100U does outperform many 720p video projectors in its price level. You might want to confirm the features and specs of your own projector to the PT-AX100U.
For comparison with my own opinion regarding the PT-AX100U, you might want to check out the opinions of other reviewers, based on their own tests and observations:

Let me know if this clarifies the specifications and performance of the PT-AX100U, with your own video projector.
BTW – What Brand and Model Video Projector do you have?
Thank you again for your input.
