LCD Chips Away at Plasma Sales

As a result of lower prices and expanding production capability, LCD flat panel televisions, once restricted to smaller screen sizes below 40-inches, are now successfully encroaching on the big-screen Plasma Television market in the 42-to-50 inch screen size. What this means is that, as LCD keeps expanding its screen size offerings at lower price points, Plasma Television sales are going down.
