The PC Takes on Home Theater

Although the vast majority of home theater setups incorporate separate components: AV receiver, DVD player or Recorder, CD player, etc... the all-in-one Media Center PC (also called a Home Theater PC) has been gaining favor with an increasing number of consumers. The Media Center PC incorporates not only the traditional functions of a PC, but also includes a TV tuner, DVD recorder, audio preamp and/or amplifier functions, and more.
