Consumer Alert: Firmware Ver 2.50 Now Available For Sony BDP-S1 Blu-ray Disc Player

Sony has announced the availability of a new firmware update for its BDP-S1 Blu-ray Disc Player. This new version (2.50) corrects and updates Blu-ray Disc playback problems with regards to Interactive BD-Java functions. This latest firmware update also includes all other updates as well. If you own a BDP-S1 and haven't updated your player's firmware since you originally purchased it, this disc will contain all the updates you need to this point. Previous updates included the addition of Dolby TrueHD Decoding and BD-R/RE playback support.
