Most Consumers Now Aware of Blu-ray - But...

It seems that a new study has indicated that 60% of consumers in the U.S. are now aware of Blu-ray, and about 10 million Blu-ray and HD-DVD players have been sold. However, that is still a far cry from the over 100 million standard DVD players in use, and still being purchased. In addition, with Blu-ray Disc players and movies priced much higher than standard DVD players and movies, will increased consumer awareness actually translate into mass purchase and ownership of the remaining high-def disc format?
