Netflix Debuts Netflix Player

Netflix joins Apple and VuDu in the movie download business with its newly announced Netflix player. The Netflix Player is a $99 compact unit that, when connected to the internet, allows for free downloading of movies and programs from the Netflix website for viewing on any television with Composite, S-Video, Component, or HDMI inputs. However, unlike Apple TV and VuDu, the Netflix free movie download service does not offer programs and movies in High Definition, at least to start with.
