You can't buy it quite yet, but OPPO Digital made a surprise visit to the CEDIA EXPO, with their prototype Blu-ray Disc Player in tow. The tenative model number is BDP-83. No final release date or pricing was announced. However, if the prototype is any indication, the player will include the following features: Blu-ray Playback with Profile 2.0 (BD Live) capability, Anchor Bay VRS processing and 1080p upscaling for standard DVDs, USB host functions for digital music and photo files, and SACD (Super Audio CD) playback (DVD Audio playback may be included later as a firmware upgrade).
