Onkyo has just announced two new High-End Home Theater Receivers with THX Ultra2 Plus Certification, the TX-SR876 and the TX-NR906. Both receivers include 7.1 channel output, provisions for front channel bi-amping, powered or line out Multi-zone connectivity, the Audyssey automatic speaker setup system, HDMI switching, and Silicon Optix HQV Reon-VX 1080p upscaling. Both receivers are also available in both Black or Silver versions. In addition, the top-of-the-line TX-NR906 also includes Windows Vista Certification and networking capabilities via ethernet, including access to internet radio streams. The TX-SR876 features 140 wpc and is priced at $1,799, while the TX-NR906 features 145 wpc and is priced at $2,200.
