CEATEC 2008 Consumer Electronics Trade Show in Japan This Week

What is CEATEC you ask? It is Japan's premiere electronics show featuring exhibits in information technology and electronics. Translated from Japanese, CEATEC stands for: Cutting Edge IT and Electronics Comprehensive Exhibition. This year's show is being held this week from September 30 - October 4, 2008. This is were it all starts for products coming out of Asia. Most products on display at CEATEC sometimes take a while to make it to the U.S. market. However, some products that appear at CEATEC many never reach U.S. shores, but enjoy a healthy life in other parts of the World.
