GAO Identifies DTV Transition As Needed Priority For President-Elect Obama

One issue that neither presidential candidates McCain and Obama never really addressed during their campaigns, is the upcoming DTV Transition and its possible effects on the U.S. citizenry. To be sure, the economic crisis, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and several other issues are more important. However, with the DTV Transition taking full effect only a month after the new President-Elect officially takes office, his adminstration, rightly or wrongly, will be blamed if the transition does not go well.
