After first closing 49 stores in March of 2007, followed by a Chapter 11 reorganization filing in June 2007, and then making one last move to stay afloat just last month, Tweeter has finally made the decision to close its doors and call it quits. The once-thriving Consumer Electronics and Home Theater dealer is now in the process of liquidating its remaining stores under Chapter 7 bankruptcy guidelines.
