DVD is the most successful home entertainment product in history. Introduced in 1997, DVD took off like a rocket and is now found everywhere as the primary entertainment format familiar to just about all consumers. In addition, the popularity of home-made DVDs has added another means for the consumer to create their own video content. One question I often get is: What Is The Difference Between Movie DVDs And DVDs Made On A DVD recorder Or PC?

I THINK THE MOVIES DVDS ARE COPYRIGHTED AND ARE NOT FOR REUSE AFTER PURCHASE LOLZ
Depends on the source and amount of the disc used. I record lots of films onto DVR from digital cable and then dub them onto DVDR. Titles from digital stations like Turner Classic Movies appear the same as the actual broadcast when taking up no more than 3 1/2 hours total. Beautiful color, sharp and detailed black levels.
Downscaled recordings from HD stations also look good but miss the higher resolution of HD.
