Sony and AMC Ink Digital Cinema Deal

Just as living rooms across the country are transforming into home theaters, your local cinema is also going through a transformation to Digital Cinema. Currently, Digital Cinema technology is dominated by Texas Instruments and its DLP technology, but now Sony has entered into an agreement with AMC to equip up to 5,000 of its theaters with its 4K SXRD Digital Cinema projectors.
