Roku Introduces New Pro Series TVs

With a Smart Picture feature to manage your settings, too

Having a Roku-made TV with a 4K OLED, Mini-LED tech, and an auto-settings mode could definitely convince you to put one of these new smart TVs into your living room.

Roku just revealed a new series of smart TVs ahead of next week's CES convention. The line is called the Roku Pro Series and will include improvements, said the company, in picture quality, audio, and design.

Ever since Roku announced that it would move beyond accessories and make its own line of smart TVs, the company has kept models fresh and relevant. The new Pro Series will come in 55-, 65-, and 75-inch sizes with the Roku operating system powering 4K OLED displays with Mini-LED local dimming for better contrast when viewing. Roku also promises enhanced audio tech and a new "modern" design that will allow a flatter fit if you mount them on a wall.

Roku

Maybe best of all, a new feature called Roku Smart Picture should show up this Spring, according to the company. It's basically an auto-tuning for picture quality, which, let's face it, none of us figure out how to do when we get a new TV. According to Roku, the feature uses AI, machine learning, and "data from content partners" to automatically adjust your screen so you don't have to.

We'll have to try it out to know for sure, but it sounds like a solid feature to us.

The new Pro Series TVs will also arrive this Spring with an optional mount for the sets available as well, all for under $1,500 at the regular retail outlets as other Roku sets.
