At this past CEDIA EXPO, Atlantic Technology announced its new 7-Channel Surround Bar speaker, the FS-7.0. Built on the foundation of its successful FS-4000 and FS-5000 3-in-1 LCR speaker systems, the FS-7.0 retains the 40-inch width of the FS-4000, but has been redesigned to accommodate the extra speakers needed (specifically a set of side mounted speakers) to reproduce a 7.0 channel sound field from a single enclosure.
In addition to the FS-7.0, Atlantic has also announced a new companion 100 watt 8-inch powered subwoofer, the SB-800. The FS-7.0 is priced at $800, while the SB-800 is priced at $300.
