3D TV availability gets one step closer as Samsung has begun mass producing its first batch of 3D LCD TVs (both in LED and CCFL lighting) for the consumer market. The sets will come in 40, 46, and 55-inch screen sizes. Although interest in 3D high, analysts predict that adoption by most consumers will be a slow process due to the added expense involved.
