In the face of falling stock prices, negative comments from analysts, and loud criticism from its subscribers over recent moves by Netflix to increase prices and separate its online streaming and DVD rental services into two brand names, Reed Hastings, NetFlix CEO has announced that the embattled online DVD rental and video streaming service is now retreating from its plan to branch off its DVD rental service into a separate brand, which was supposed to be called Qwikster. As it stands for now, Netflix will retain both the online streaming and DVD rental services under the single Netflix brand name.

Immediately following this new announcement, Netflix stock appears to have gone up several percent. However, despite this apparent positive move, not everyone is totally happy with the current state of Netflix.
