The gender gap is decreasing everywhere these days, and that also includes consumer electronics shopping. According to a study conducted by the CEA (Consumer Electronics Association), the gap between what men spend and what women spend in a year on consumer electronics products has decreased to about $60, which means men only have a slight edge. However, while the main emphasis for men is electronic gadgets for the home, women trend more towards mobile device purchases.
