For those 3D detractors that may be throwing up their arms in disgust over the thought of tampering with this classic film, keep in mind that the way the film was shot, using interior sound stages, bright stage lighting, and in technicolor, the cues are all there that could aid in a successful conversion from 2D to 3D.
No word on who is going to do (or has done) the actual 2D-to-3D conversion, but if the proper care and time is (was) taken by skilled stereographers this could definitely be worth a look, if not a must-see. What do you think?
