Samsung BD-E5900 3D Network Blu-ray Player - Product of the Week

The Samsung BD-E5900 is a very affordable Blu-ray Player that plays Blu-ray Discs, standard DVDs (with upscaling), most recordable DVD formats, music CDs, and CD-Rs/RWs. The BD-E5900 also provides bitstream output for both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD via HDMI, as well as standard Dolby Digital and DTS audio either via HDMI or Digital Coaxial output.

The BD-E5900 is equipped for 3D Blu-ray Disc viewing, and can also reach out to your home network and the to access content such as Netflix, YouTube, Pandora and audio, video, and still image files stored on your PC or other compatible network-connected devices. To make all this easier, the BD-E5900 provides both Ethernet or built-in WiFi connectivity.

In addition to internet and network streaming, the front mounted USB port also allows access to audio, video, and still image content stored on USB flash drives or other compatible USB devices.

However, it is important to note that the BD-E5900 does not have component, composite video outputs, or analog audio outputs.
