While most of the media buzz on holiday shopping focuses on Black Friday, the Monday following Black Friday, which is now known as Cyber Monday, keeps getting bigger and bigger, and someday may eclipse the venerable day-after-Thanksgiving brick-and-mortar shopping day.

A current study indicates that 41 per-cent of responders indicated that they will do at least some holiday shopping on Cyber Monday. This figure is up from 37 per cent in similar study from 2011. In fact, of those that are planning to shop on Cyber Monday, 58 per cent were planning on doing most, or all, their shopping on that day.

In only its seventh official year, Cyber Monday now accounts for about $2 Billion dollars in income for participating businesses.
