Although LCD TVs are by far the most commonly available, Plasma TVs are a great flat panel option that, in many cases, can provide better image quality and motion response than an LCD TVs, and are priced lower than LCD TVs for equivalent screen sizes. However, there are some things to take into consideration, including increased energy consumption, ambient room light levels, and the fact that Plasma TVs are typically only available in screen sizes 42-inches and larger.
