CES 2013 Product Preview: LG To Expand 4K UltraHD TV Line

Follow me on:

LG made a big splash this past year by being the first to bring an 4K UltraHD LED/LCD TV to market, and, with a street price of less than $20,000.

Building on its momentum, LG is taking the next step and will be bringing two additional 4K UltraHD TVs to CES 2013 in smaller 65 and 65-inch screen sizes. These sizes would be an easier fit in most living rooms, and, hopefully, more affordable for consumers. All of the TVs will also feature LG's Smart TV platform and FPR 3D viewing. No prices are being revealed yet, but we know after CES, so stay tuned!

It is looking more and more like a 4K CES as other players, including Westinghouse Digital will also be unveiling new 4K UltraHD TVs. Now, if only LG and others can get their OLED act together, that would make things even more exciting.
