Even though Dish purchased the ailing Blockbuster Video chain as a way of augmenting its profile, it looks like video rental chain's fortunes have not improved, as they have recently announced the closure of 129 rental outlets in the U.K. and 300 in the U.S.
This comes despite the fact that Dish has been integrating some if its services through Blockbuster outlets.
