Logitech to Dump Harmony After Sales Decline

Things aren't so harmonious at Logitech, well-known known maker of PC, Gaming, and Remote Control accessory products, these days after it revealed disappointing sales numbers for Q3 of 2012.

As a result, President and CEO Bracken P. Darrell is taking a hard look at the Logitech product lines and it looks like one of the causalities is going to be its Harmony Remote Control division. The hope is that Harmony can be sold and continue providing internet-update-able remote control solutions to consumers under the umbrella of another company. Logitech just announced the new Harmony Touch Remote this past October, 2012.

For more details on Logitech's current financial status, as well as its possible forthcoming corrective business strategy, read a summary of their Q3 2012 Financial Report.
