CE Week 2013 has drawn to a close, and one of the last items to report is the announcement from Toshiba that it will be offering consumers three 4K Ultra HD LED/LCD TVs to consider, beginning in August 2013. The three TVs are the 58-inch 58L9300U ($4,999), 65-inch 65L9300U ($6,999), and 84-inch 84L9300U ($16,999). The 84-inch model was first shown this past January at CES.

All the sets incorporate Toshiba's own CEVO 4K Quad-Dual Core Processor for accurate processing of both native and upscaled 4K content sources that includes a 240Hz screen refresh rate, built-in edge enhancement, and UltraClear Dynamic Noise Reduction.

In addition to their 4K Ultra HD capabilities, all of the sets feature Toshiba's Cloud TV platform that provides easy access, control, and organization of network and internet-based content.

Also, the sets provide, in addition to HDMI connectivity, built-in Wifi, Miracast, and WiDi wireless connection options for easy content access from both network/internet sources and compatible portable devices and PCs.

To provide further support, Toshiba has also announced the coming release of its new BDX6400 Technicolor-Certified Symbio Media Box/Blu-ray Disc player, which provides the best possible 4K upscaling for Blu-ray Disc and Internet/Network-based video content.
