It is a new year, and to start things off, lets get down to basics. Home theater is an entertainment option that provides consumers with an experience that is more than just watching TV. However, many think that home theater is elusive, complicated, and just too expensive - but, in reality, that does not need to be the case. To get you started on the path to your own home theater, check out my home theater basics question and answer series. This week's question: What Is Home Theater and What Does it Do For Me?. Correct. With the plunging prices of almost all audio and video equipment having a home theater (what ever that means to the individual) is easily attainable. I remember my first 65″ rear projection tv was something like $4K and now I see through my website I can get a Samsung UN65EH6000 65-Inch 1080p 120Hz LED HDTV for under $1400. Amazing!
But yes, you are right, you can have a huge 50 person home theater or even one in a 500 Sq Ft apartment. It all depends what the person needs.
Looking forward to future installments in your series.
