Samsung was on hand with an impressive display of products, however, the item that caught my eyes were two prototype plasma displays capable of displaying true 3D video without the viewer having to wear glasses. You had to be there to fully appreciate the visual impact of this potential product.

Samsung's latest line of Dynaflat TVs, featuring flat picture tubes and some with progessive scan and HD upgrade capability.

Samsung also introduced the DVD-H40 incorporating a progressive scan DVD player and a 40GD video hard disk recorder in one component.

Samsung also introduced a new portable DVD player, the DVD-L100, boasting a very large 10" TFT 16x9 display and memory stick slot for displaying of digital photos.

Samsung is a leader in LCD display technology and unveiled a new home unit, the LTM-215 21" LCD HD-upgradable television at CES; note the detachable flat panel speakers on each side.

Home networking products, particularly home media servers, were a major part of this year's CES. Samsung showed off its version, the Media Center.
