PRODUCT OF THE WEEK
Panasonic PT-50LC13 LCD Projection TV
If you are looking for a television that is thin, like a Plasma, but costs a lot less, then check out the Panasonic PT-50LC13 LCD projection television. With features, such as a 50-inch 16x9 diagonal screen, HDTV compatibility (with addition of option set-top box) and PC connectivity, this unit really delivers. To top it off, even though it is a projection style television, it is only 15-inches deep. Although this is deeper than a Plasma TV, it is thinner than a traditional projection television.

FROM THE MAILBOX
From SE:
I have a Panasonic DVD recorder with 80 Gig HD, Direct TV Satellite and an old (1986) TV. The DVD recorder only has channels up to 125 and the Sat channels start at 200, so I can only record the one sat channel that I leave it on (essentially what ever is left on TV ch 3). Have
I installed it incorrectly? Do you understand what my problem is? Do I have to program somthing?
From Your Guide:
You appear to have everything installed correctly -- just like a cable box, a satellite box can only download one channel at time. Thus you must record in the manner you have stated.
The Satellite channels do not correspond to the channels in either a TV tuner, a VCR tuner, or a DVD recorder tuner -- that is why the satellite box has a built-in RF modulator to covert all output to channel 3 so it can be recorded by the DVD recorder and/or viewed on a TV.
