Sharp SD-EX200 Micro-System
Here is a very stylish compact system that features Sharp's innovative 1-bit digital audio amplifier technology, which delivers 100 watt-per-channel (RMS at 2%THD), two-way bass reflex speakers with 5 7/8-inch woofers, single-tray CD player, AM/FM Tuner with 40 presets, remote control, auxilary audio input, and digital audio output for use with a minidisc player/recorder. Why Won't My TV Sound Work
From RUMAPASKIAIN:
I brought two televisions (televideos) from the UK to Finland and the sound won't work on either of them in Finland. I can tune in the channels OK and the sound works from the built in video but not from the TV programs. Does anybody know what the reason for this could be?

FROM THE MAILBOX
From D/P:
I am looking for a stand alone DVD Recorder, but there are so many models and features, I am confused. The features I would like are:
Inputs for A/V,S-VHS, and D/V from my Sony digital camcorder, or VHS tapes/VCR. A Slot for a Smart Media card., for pics from my digital camera, and ability to edit or sort scenes before burning the DVD.
I plan to put over old 100 VHS tapes made on trips on to DVD, as well as future digital camcorder 8mm tapes. The Sony RDRGX7 seems to have more than I need, but it has no card slot--perhaps there is an accessory?
Anyway, I would appreciate your advice. I'm looking for quality and user friendly convenience-not just price.
From Your Guide:
Your best options for DVD recorders with digital camera card slots may be the Philips DVDR77 or the Panasonic DMR-E65S, however to also have the ability to edit and sort scenes before recording to DVD you need a DVD recorder a built-in hard drive feature, your option here (with also a digital camera card slot) would be the Panasonic DMR-E100HS.
